But what you’re truly longing for is:
The process starts with you scheduling a FREE initial consultation with one of our team members!
Connect via phone conference with one of our Kids Thrive coaches to see how we can help!
At initial coaching session we will explore your goals in depth and make a roadmap for how we can get there together. At initial coaching session total number of sessions will be established.
At Kids Thrive, we do not use a tiered model as is found in traditional ABA settings where the BCBA oversees the case and a behavior technician provides direct therapy. Since we provide a BCBA only model, our families work exclusively and directly with highly credentialed providers. Additionally, our clinicians have many years of practice in early intervention and have taken additional continuing education units in topics such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Natural Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI’s), and have background course work in psychology and child development. We are passionate about helping our young learners gain developmental skills!
We believe all play is valid and non-harmful self-stimulatory behaviors serve an important purpose in regulating emotions.
We follow your child's lead in play to help them learn new skills while respecting their unique individuality.
We focus on teaching assertion skills over compliance, believing all children have the right to withdraw assent.
We are passionate about empowering parents and helping children develop connected, loving relationships with their caregivers.
Hi there, I’m Megan Rutel. I’m a Behavior Analyst and Parent Coach, specializing in helping parents through those early childhood years. With over a decade of experience, I’ve worked with families in all sorts of settings – from homes to virtual platforms and clinics.
My journey includes extensive training in behavior science, over 1200 hours of clinical supervision, and official board certification along with being licensed by the state of Texas. Over the years I have supported countless kids with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and of course, their amazing caregivers.
Becoming a mom myself eight years ago really drove home the challenges and joys of parenthood. It’s why I’m so passionate about offering practical help and support to fellow caregivers. Let’s navigate this journey together.
